Now into its third generation of family ownership, Champagne Maxime Blin truly is a treasure of the wine world. Based in the idyllic village of Trigny, Maxime, his wife Claire and their three young daughters make wine which is full of heart and honest flavours. Fully organic, hand-harvested, the wine you see you in your glass has been incredibly well looked after and is an amazing expression of grower Champagne. Carte Blanche NV is intimately linked to the history of the estate; at the end of WW2, Maxime's grandfather returned to Trigny and founded the Domaine. At that time, Pinot Meunier was the main varietal that was used, and that's what you see in this blend of 80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir. The Champagne for every moment, it combines lightness, peaches, pears, nectarine and a gourmet richness. Equally at home as an aperitif or paired with white meats.
